Project Description

• Project Definition:

Distribution Service Provider ( DSP ) is a contract for the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the distribution network and metering services in Lebanon.

• Scope of work:

Mrad company (as a Subcontractor) has been awarded to provide all workmanship, equipment, and tools and perform the works – specifically in South Lebanon in accordance with Electricite du Liban ( EDL )

• Description of work:

Our work is to perform the following activities related to MV and LV network extension, re-configuration, and re-enforcement:

1. Construction of distribution facilities in correlation with network extension and re-enforcement.
2. Providing new connections to customers (OHL or UGC extension for existing network,and construction new distribution facilities including switchgear panels, transformers, etc…).
3. Installation and commissioning of indoor and outdoor substations (MV,MV/LV).
4. Installation and commissioning of OHL including poles (MV and LV steel, concrete and wooden poles).
5. Installation and commissioning of UGC including asphalt cutting, excavation, installation of cables, termination, jointing, backfilling, etc… (MV and LV).
6. Installation and commissioning of necessary metering equipment.
7. Cable laying and OHL setting (MV and LV).
8. Cable laying and UGC setting (MV and LV).
